Today I had my first real audition. It was actually completely terrifying. I saw an open call for a comedy show and I just decided to send in a headshot. They called me and said they wanted to schedule an audition and so I went by this morning. It was in L.A. on the 11th floor of a massive building and I sat in the waiting room with another girl. She was also auditioning and she had her headshot and resume (which was like 2 and a half pages long) and I started to freak out a little bit...
When I went into audition it was just two producers and me and they told me they were doing an audition for a comedy variety show and they asked me if I had any characters...uhh..
So I said not exactly.. and they asked me to be none other than Sarah Palin. So for my first audition ever in L.A. I had to be Sarah Palin. He laughed though so I guess that's good..but I seriously doubt that will lead any where. I'm pretty sure I looked nervous. But I got the first one down!
Also, today it was finally warm and sunny and beautiful. For a while, it was raining and cold.. and I was a little confused because I thought I moved to L.A...not Seattle. But I went on a bike ride to celebrate!
And, this weekend is my dad's birhtday SO..HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAD!

Yeah for your first audition! I bet it's nice to have that out of the way. Don't be nervous! You will always do your best and be great! :)
