Music Videos, Jobs, Justin Timberlake, and THE OFFICE!

This week was pretty busy and pretty insane!

I have been working at Starbucks and it's been great to do something and make some money until I find something more permanent.

This week I had an interview at a lighting company and it is looking like I will be a secretary there! I find out more this week..

My dad met the president of the company at a conference with Francis Chan in Houston and it has been such a blessing. They talked about LA. and my dad got his info, passed it along to me, I contacted them, and then I interviewed! I am grateful for another job possibility.

The interview was a few streets over from where they film The Office. It's a small studio in Van Nuys, near Burbank. You wouldn't even know it's there except my friend and I stopped by when I first moved here. ANYWAY, I parked my car and walked around outside THESE familiar gates...see any familiar cars??!

As I was walking down the street I could see through the gate over to the trailers and craft services on set and I saw Meredith, Pam and Michael!

Then as I was heading back to my car, I walked past Angela as she was taking her baby for a walk. This is of course her baby from her real life marriage, not from the show ;)

I wanted to say sic 'em or something else because she also went to Baylor...but I refrained.

Brittany's friend from Texas was visiting so I actually did some touristy stuff this weekend. We went to Hollywood and Highland and saw the stars on the street and the handprints...

Gregory Peck and I have almost the same size shoe which I found a little disturbing.. but he is one of my favorites so I will take it.

We decided to go see a movie that night at The Grove which is a shopping center/outdoor market with restaurants etc.

We get our tickets and start heading into the theatre and the ticket girl tears our tickets and leans in to whisper that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel had just walked in. I don't think she's supposed to tell us that, but oh well. We thought about looking for them in the theatre, but it was pretty full and we didn't want to be obnoxious. We spotted some seats together at the top and as I walk up I see who's sitting at the top as well... Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. So we want to sit on the end of their row, but opt to sit right behind them instead. We tried to play it cool, but we definitely sneaked some pictures..

I mean, COME ON. The celebrity thing is overrated and silly. But this dates back to NSYNC days in jr high and it was pretty crazy. We didn't bother them or anything, and at the end I'm pretty sure they snuck out the back exit. I think people were figuring out they were there because when we left there were about 25 people standing outside the theatre waiting.

We joked about quoting lines from his songs loud enough so he would hear...

or when we were leaving maybe just lean over and say..

Have a great night! Bye Bye Bye!

OK I'm such a loser and we didn't really seriously think about doing this but it was really funny for us to talk about in the car on the way home...

This is a shot from the music video I helped with last week in downtown LA. I don't have a link yet, but when I do, I will post it on here.

I am going to try and come home around Easter or the weekend after, so I really hope that works out. However, if I can't because of a job, I can't say that would be a bad thing!
